Brittingham Farms is a 4th generation owned grain farm in Millsboro, Delaware that is pleased to offer our community the largest lavender field in the state, heritage breed sheep, wedding venue and boutique farm store. They are offering an exclusive private group tour during their lavender season.

This tour is personally led by owner and founder Laura Brittingham and provides an intimate look into their working lavender farm. For $17 per person, guests enjoy a guided experience that combines agriculture, craftsmanship, and the story behind Brittingham Farms.

During the tour, guests will learn about:

• Lavender plant care and seasonal growing practices
• Harvest timing and techniques
• The distillation process used to produce their small-batch lavender essential oil
• The artisan products created using their essential oil
• The history of Brittingham Farms and a guided tour of the home farm grounds
• The heritage breed, Leicester Longwool sheep of Brittingham Farms

After the guided tour, our group is welcome to remain on the property to enjoy a packed lunch in a peaceful farm setting. The property is wheelchair friendly and a restroom and refreshments are available.

Our group will be touring during peak lavender bloom season. Lavender harvest generally begins around July 15, offering an additional opportunity to see the farm in an active and exciting phase of the season.

This private tour is a wonderful way to provide memorable, hands-on experience in a beautiful agricultural setting.
