Art For All: A Delaware Art Museum Experience
Founded in 1912 to honor the influential illustrator Howard Pyle, the Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington is home to more than 13,000 works of art. DelArt’s holdings include the largest collection of British Pre-Raphaelite art outside the United Kingdom, alongside dynamic collections of American illustration, contemporary art, and regional creativity.
Join Lise Dubé-Scherr for an engaging presentation and conversation that highlights how DelArt’s exhibitions, collections, and programs ignite creativity, foster connection, and center people and community voices throughout the state, including Sussex County. The program will also feature a guided slow art experience—inviting participants to look closely, reflect deeply, and connect with art in a personal, meaningful way making the experience less about “knowing” art history and more about engaging with art on a human level.
Please note, if this class becomes full, please email Christi Davis, Lifestyle Manager at [email protected] to be put on the waitlist.
This is a complimentary program provided by the Institute.
