In the 1970s, my late father-in-law, Carl M. Freeman, envisioned Sea Colony, a beautiful beach and tennis resort in Bethany Beach, Delaware, as a special coastal gathering place for families. Four decades later, moms and dads, grandparents and grandchildren, aunts, uncles, and cousins flock to it from all across the country.
Later came The Preserve, The Cove, The Village at Bear Trap Dunes, Bayside, and Tidewater Landing, each offering its own unique combination of natural beauty and world-class amenities for families to enjoy. Now, there is a new coastal jewel, Tower Hill, bringing the best of coastal living with a quintessential Delaware feel.
I grew up in Delaware, and it’s my greatest joy to create places for families to enjoy all our state has to offer. At Tower Hill, you’ll experience so many of the things I love about living here—from our peaceful agricultural landscapes to the excitement and fun of our beaches. As I carry the Freeman legacy forward, I remember how my father-in-law taught us to build places and spaces for families to savor happy moments together.
