DE Greenways Lunch & Learn

FreeJoin us for an active and fun lunch & learn with the DE Greenways. You will be provided an overview of the Delaware Greenways, learning about their trail work along with the Byway and their works focus.
Celebrating 35 years of collaboration with communities, organizations and agencies supporting 100’s of miles of trails, pathways, and byways. Hear about how their statewide advocacy has played a significant role in the creation of some of Delaware’s most beloved trails, and their work to add more.
Learn about designated road corridors, Byways. Traveling through some of the most picturesque areas of our state. Rich in culture, history, wildlife, and recreational activities. Close to home, they will highlight the work of the Historic Lewes Byway. After lunch, join us to walk the trail along New Road and hear first-hand from the landscape architect and their landscape committee on how its installation became a centerpiece of viewshed preservation along the Historic Lewes Byway. The Byway is shaped by these views. Learn more about how you can share in this work.
